Iris is a rockin' San Antonio cover band. Iris was formed in 2001 by bassist Jim Kuvet, formerly of the band Livewire. Other members are drummer Jeff Sellers, lead vocalist Roy Lee, lead guitarist Kevin Koch, and old/new member Jim Freeman (left to " explore strange new worlds and seek out new life and new civilizations" and came back).Iris plays (in my opinion) an awesome collection of cover tunes, including Green Day, Jet, Ozzy, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Bush, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and much more. Iris will be playing this Saturday (May 14) at the Guadalupe River Pub in Kerrville and Friday May 20 at Just 1 More. New Iris t-shirts will be available this weekend, so make sure you get one!
