Deja Vu: A Trip Down Memory Lane

Just looking at their playlist sent me back in time! Deja Vu is a rock/dance cover band, playing songs ranging from 70's music to today's sounds, with a focus on the '80's. They will take you back to the days of Pac-Man, The Breakfast Club and the mullet with music from bands such as The Cars, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Modern English and The Romantics.

They also play classics like Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl, disco hits such as The Commodores' "Brick House" and Rick James' "Superfreak," 90's rock including The Toadies "Possum Kingdom" and Nine Inch Nails' "Closer", and modern rock tunes from artists such as Korn and Radiohead.

Dancin to Deja VuTheir nostalgic music blend seems to have the right effect. They get the crowd up and dancing! Looking at their Guestbook, I found such comments as, "You proved there wasn't enough dance floor." "I was so tired from dancing! Every time we would start to rest you would play another good song!" and "My friends and I stopped in to Main St. on the way to another bar. We never left! We called our other friends to meet us there. I've never seen Main St. so packed!"

When to catch them:

Sat. Aug 13 - Fiasco Cocktails on Thousand Oaks
Thu. Aug 18 - Roxy Sports Bar on Wurzbach
