Friday at Jack's

Still trying to learn everything that's going on at Jack's Patio Bar Friday, but here's what I've heard:

Jeremy Dien is having a CD release party and will be playing along with Dan Dyer from Austin, George Devore and possibly more(?). Sounds like a great time!

BTW, here's a little tidbit on Dan Dyer that was sent to me:

Hailing from Texas, Dan Dyer got into to the thriving Austin music scene where he formed and fronted Breedlove, a group that went on to garner a loyal following throughout the Southeast, released an independent album and appeared on the H.O.R.D.E. tour. In 1999, Dyer relocated to New York City to pursue a solo career. A chance meeting with Lenny Kravitz resulted in a recording contract with the fledgling Roxie Records and in early 2003 Dyer began work on his debut album, with Lenny Kravitz serving as producer and backing musician, along with guitarist Craig Ross. "...of what lies beneath" features an extraordinary blend of incisive, emotionally resonant songwriting and concise, consummately crafted arrangements and includes such standout Dan Dyer originals as "Space Alien," "It Feels Like Dancing," "What Lies Beneath" and "Great Ocean."
