OZZY RETIRES WITH HAY FEVER
Legendary heavy rocker OZZY OSBOURNE has retired from this year's (05) Ozzfest extravaganza after struggling with a severe bout of summer hayfever.
The BLACK SABBATH singer, who has headlined the travelling festival for ten years, was so stricken by his pollen allergy, his voice was unable to stand up to rigours of live shows.
His wife SHARON confirms, "He's been having a lot of voice problems. Ozzy suffers from hay fever and when we're on tour everything is outside.
"When the pollen count is high, he's just wiped out. And there's only so many things he can take for it."
The rocker will return to the stage for a few tour dates next year (06) after taking a heavy dose of anti-histamine.
