Nothing More CD Release/Fundraiser

As you may or may not know ‘Nothing More,’ has been touring for the past month and a half throughout Texas making a splash in the regional music scene. We’ve been extremely successful spreading the ‘Nothing More Fever.’ Unfortunately we’ve had a death in the Nothing More Family.

Our Tour Bus (1976 GMC Vendura) has died and gone to heaven. Here’s the complete story from beginning to end. Somewhere along the 6 weeks on the road, the frame near the rear of the chassis came disconnected from the structure of the RV, as a result of the heavy trailer with all of our equipment. Slowly, the frame started to bend more and more towards the ground. Finally, on I-35 from Dallas to San Antonio the bathroom counter came disconnected from the wall. It was then that we decided this had gone to far. We were in town for only 2 days. Daniel (bassist) took the time to take the RV into a welder to see about getting the frame welded and reinforced. ‘No problem’ they said. Welp, about 20 minutes later Daniel opened the door of the RV and a barrage of black smoke came pouring out. The entire interior of the RV was on fire!!! It took some window bashing, 3 fire extinguishers, and a hose to finally get the fire out. (**note, the RV has a huge propane tank, and exposed gas lines). She’s totaled and the ghetto joint has no insurance. And we’re left with no wheels to continue our tour.

Now, here’s what we’re going to do about it… We’ve got a MONSTER benefit/CD Release show set up to take place this Saturday. Here are the details.
