The Militia Group Announce Panic Division
The Militia Group have announced their signing of The Panic Division. The band's TMG debut, Versus, hits shelves on November 1st. Check out the official press release below, unless of course you don't want to:

Orange County, CA - The Militia Group warmly welcomes The Panic Division to the family! The Panic Division's sound can be described as: Rock music that brings an electronic vibe to pop-sensible songs with hints of darkness. Their new album, Versus is tentatively set for a release date of November 1st on The Militia Group. With Versus' ongoing themes of "Life, Love and Death," The Panic Division aim for "those kinds of songs will ever get old, because that is what people relate to the most." The band hopes that these songs are easily identifiable to many people, having more longevity as well as a diverse sound.

The Panic Division pride themselves on being one of the biggest local bands in San Antonio over the past few years. This prolific group of songwriters wrote 2 full length albums as an unsigned band, toured the US multiple times and are now making their mark as one of the only bands out of the San Antonio music scene to flourish rather than flounder. Vocalist/guitarist Colton Holliday comments on what finally being with an independent label means to them: "Its great to have someone backing us, instead of just us backing ourselves. We have (The Militia Group) believing in our music and pushing it just like we are... We are excited to finally have a representative and a home." The Panic Division has shared the stage with talented artists such as Acceptance and most recently Dredg.

The Panic Division recorded Versus in their home town at Rhapsody Street Studios with Mack Damon, a long time friend. Bassist Tavis Wilson has worked at Rhapsody Street for many years and also engineers bands as well. Consistently recording at Rhapsody Street over the past 5 years or so has given the band a veritable home base to go back to. Versus will be the first in its genre to put Rhapsody Street on the map.

The Panic Division's Versus is set for a November 1st release on The Militia Group. For music samples, tour info and more photos, visit the links below.
