Preying Mantis at Wise Guys

Daniel, a friend of mine on MySpace, sent me this:

I saw preying mantis at wise guys last night, and it was bad assssss!!!!! I never saw them before but they were freakin awesome. Best metal cover band I've ever seen by far.

When I was walking up I heard "B.Y.O.B." by System of a Down and I thought "that can't be live." It was awesome. They played alot of Pantera, Megadeth, Metallica, stuff like that, and they took requests. During the breaks they would come down and have some drinks with the audience and they're really cool guys. I'll definitely be checking out another show.

The group is so high energy it's awesome and all the members are awesome on their instruments the drummer was crazy the bassist was awesome and the guitar was freakin insane. He nailed all the solos to every song perfect...definitely a band worth checking out.
