Northwest Side Mardi Gras party turns into fight

Several people were injured, and several more were taken into custody after a Northwest Side Mardi Gras party got out of hand Wednesday morning.
At about 2 a.m., the party got out of control at the Madison Avenue Pub and the Jack Rabbit's Tavern, both in the 5500 block of Babcock Road near Eckert Road.
A fight involving a number of people broke out and several were injured, including one man who suffered a broken nose.
Police arrived, and a number of people were arrested. The cause of the fight is not yet known.
