This week, starts out on Thursday at the Stone Werks on the grill at 1604 and Blanco rd. Chris Taylor and I and some of the fellas from both of our bands will share the evening and do some collaborating and make what we hope will be a great night for music. We start at 9 pm and end at 1 am come on out and hang with us.
Friday night me and the Velicious band get back to work at Luna on San Pedro Ave. if you’ve seen us there before then you know to show up early. We’ve been blessed to get great turnouts there and they always take great care of us.
Saturday night is yet another night of collaborating but this time, it’s with the man who showed me which way to turn at the crossroads when I was trying to figure out the blues world, I’m talking about Mr. Jimmy Spacek. Yes, Val and I will be sharing the stage with him out at Rebar on Broadway. As my friend Dennis from Two Tons of Steel likes to say “we’re gonna get Guitarded tonight!” Hope that doesn’t offend anybody
