From ALTER EGO:
It's a somewhat bittersweet weekend for us, as this will be the final one with the current ALTER EGO lineup. Beginning March 1, the band will have Roy Eastwood (of Iris and Nemesis) on lead vocals and guitar, Jeff Sellers (also formerly of Iris and Nemesis) on drums, Ruben Rex (formerly of Grupo Metal and Kumbia Kings) on lead guitar, and me, Steve Elliott, on bass and vocals.
Brett Alton (vocals), Paul Navarez (guitar), Tony Vasquez (drums), and Jason Bayless (sound/guitar/vocals) will be featured in the two new bands, Delta House and The Tailgaters. Joining them are Jake Bernal (keyboards), who was formerly in Deja Vu, Euphoria, etc., and the man, the myth, the legend, the bass player who only needs a single name, Valdo. Valdo was also in Nemesis, and has played with some of the premier names on the scene.
I wish these guys nothing but good luck and good fortunes, as it's truly been an honor and a privilege to play with these brothers of mine in music, with whom I've shared so many good times. They will always remain our good friends!

That being said, the new lineup is going to kick some serious hiney! In the rehearsals we've had, it's been so easy and so much fun to put everything together, and you're going to hear all your favorites, PLUS a ton of new songs, and even some smoking blues! The first show with the new lineup is March 1 at the Revolution Room, on Broadway just inside Loop 410, so come on out and support as we take ALTER EGO to the next level!
And come out this weekend as we rip the roofs off TONIC and BABCOCK BAR!
