The Heroine, local rockers with a Christian/positive message repertoire and a fearless attitude that finds the band playing almost every venue imaginable, recently did a gig at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. The Heroine was one of six finalists in the Guitar Center On Stage Make Rock History contest in which bands competed for a pile of prizes and the chance to open for Mötley Crüe. The Last Vegas won the grand prize, but the Heroine will return to play the Whisky in January on a tour with another of the contest finalists, The Spittin' Cobras.
Saturday, fans can congratulate The Heroine when the band works Rock Bottom Tattoo Bar with Broken Teeth, Top Dead Center, So Unloved and Burning Eden. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Cover charge for the all-ages show is $8.
