St. Patty's Day Pub Crawl

Guinness Dyeing O' the River Green & St. Paddy's Day Parade
3/13/2009 - 3/15/2009

Floats release 50 pounds of environmentally friendly green dye into the San Antonio River. The event transforms the 2.5 mile river into a miniature Emerald Isle where a proclamation is read, temporarily re-naming the river "The River Shannon". Estimated Attendance: 15,000. On Sunday, March 15, beginning at 1:00pm, the annual St. Paddy's Day River Parade provides everyone on the River Walk an opportunity to enjoy yet another parade of barges, commemorating St. Paddy.
