Second Saturday Semillas is an event on the ninth of may that will raise funds for a free music, dance, and theatre school for our inner city youth in San Antonio.
Our goal is to take the wealth of resources we collectively have as artists and redistribute it to our youth at no cost to them. The money raised at this event will go to paying the artists that hold the lessons and workshops. We also plan on building a budget to supply those that can not afford it, their instruments, dancing clothes, shoes, supplies, etc..... The classes will be all ages and accessible to everyone.
A healthy meal from Big Kahuna is included in the suggested donation to get in to the event and the entertainment will also be slammin'.
