SAD WINGS features Jason Mcmaster, the metal vocal legend and front-man for the legendary San Antonio favorite WATCHTOWER as well as TEXAS legends DANGEROUS TOYS,BROKEN TEETH , IGNITOR , KILLA MAUL and many other well known established bands in the state. The Band features members of IGNITOR and UK Metal Masters ,SHADOWKEEP !!
Also closing out the night will be Austins own IRON MAIDEN Tribute -DRIFTER featuring the Talented ERICA TANDY (Bracaglia ,Poseidon's anger and EX IGNITOR vocals) along with Stony Grantham (SHADOWKEEP) on bass rumbling out Steve Harris's Licks like no other bassist I have ever heard.
You truly have to check em out to know just what I mean.
Hailing from Mcallen TEXAS, BLACK TORA (formerly Warryor) has been tearing up the Texas Scene. Since the release of their debut (Demo) Cd on Retrospect Records, Black Tora's following and recognition have skyrocketed due to their tireless live concert schedule, performing throughout the Southwest, including numerous shows in Las Vegas, and a prime performance at Rocklahoma 2008.
Rock Quarry/MusicWorks has recorded their new album produced by Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot, etc.)
I have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with these guys several times before and I have to admit they truly put on a helluva show. BLACK TORA will certainly give you more than your $$'s worth !!
LOCAL rockers BAD OBSESSION are also on the bill and feature ex\members of BLACK FALCON and if you remember how good BLACK FALCON are then you won't be the least bit surprised with how good these guys are. They jam some originals and a few covers as well. Certainly a band to be on the watch for !
And of course TEXAS TRASH will be jamming as well and celebrating a few Birthdays also. MY birthday was FEB 5th and Rene's is this week so we will be celebrating at the show
