Trying to extract religious content from the brutal noise delivered by Christian metalcore outfit The Devil Wears Prada could give you a migraine, but the Word lies somewhere amidst the howling doom. Named after Lauren Weisberger’s semi-fictional novel, The Devil Wears Prada (which inspired the 2006 film starring Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, a character based on icy Vogue editrix Anna Wintour), the Ohio-based band cares less about high fashion than it does zombies — which factor heavily into Dead Throne, their fourth studio album.
