LONESTAR STUDIOS PRESENTS: SORNE

Since the February release of the debut record, “HOUSE OF STONE,” SORNE has been generating a great deal of local and international acclaim amongst critics and fans alike. With a unique sound many liken to such artists as Anthony Hagarty, Yeasayer, The Mars Volta, Bjork, Animal Collective, Tool, and Peter Gabriel. This project is one of many levels and many layers. The nature of SORNE's modularity is intended to serve as a symbol of adaption, and a vehicle to reach many different audiences.

Almost immediately after SORNE's tour as an opening act for TV On The Radio; SORNE and LoneStar Studios will exhibit this one-time spectacular performance at LoneStar Studios on November 19th 2011. LoneStar Studios Presents: SORNE is an example of a larger presentation with the incorporation of choreography, visual art and lighting which all pertain to the central themes of humanism, heritage, suffering, and celebration.

This unique show will be set inside an installation of SORNE's art and will feature:

Dance by the "Woven Feet" troupe

Projections of SORNE's art by the Austin videos artists, "Vid Kidz"

Lighting and stage design by Sean FitzGibbons.

This will be the third performance in the "LoneStar Studios Presents" series; for more information on these collaborative art and music events please visit www.SeanFitzGibbons.com
