Punk Art & Music Fest
"Ringing in 2012 on a rather raucous note, the Punk Art & Music Fest is the brainchild of visual artist Leticia Tovar Onofre (look for her work on display at the event). The inaugural fest celebrates the spiked and studded genre through punk-themed art and live painting (courtesy of Aesop Cardenas, Elena Valenzuela, Jessica Correa, John Eric DeLaZerda, Pamela Godz, Tomas Vasquez, and Robert Adolfo Melara), alternative and DIY merch tables (Cherry Bomb Boutique, Deadstar Creations, Pink & Black Straps, Hollowed Thread ‘N’ Stitch, and more), and a rowdy lineup of bands (Friday: ------ Without Profit, The Zukinis, The Code 88’s, Mariachis del Infierno, and The Lost Project (right); Saturday: Cherry Street Hookers, A Day Like No Other, Heather Go Psycho, Oi! Dollz, Skcitssa, Dogz on Parole, The Dispicables, Wreckage Squad, Given a Chance, and Commercial Free Project) guaranteed to keep Docs stomping into the New Year!"
