AUSTIN, May 26th, 2012 - The popular comedy podcast,  CB Radio, is launching the first ever CB Radio Comedy Tour, a run of stand up comedy shows across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas that will be documented daily via the podcast. The tour features comedians Chris Cubas, John Tole, BradChad Porter, host of 'CB Radio,' Cameron Buchholtz, plus special guess in each city. The shows will all be held in rock clubs instead of typical comedy venues.

"To me, the best part of this whole thing is the freedom that the rock clubs will provide," said Buchholtz. "We will be doing 100% exactly what we want to and provide the audience with the best show possible without the steep cover charges and drink minimums found in most comedy venues. We're doing this the punk rock way and I think the shows will be much better for it."

In addition to hosting 'CB Radio,' Buchholtz performs at comedy clubs across the country, has done theater shows with the likes of Doug Benson and Todd Barry, rock clubs with Neil Hamburger and Michael Ian Black, and festivals such as FunFunFunFest and the Moontower Comedy Festival. Chris Cubas is a multi-time Funniest Person in Austin finalist and veteran of the popular Altercation Punk Rock Comedy Tour. John Tole was named one of Howard Stern's "Killers of Comedy," and is a regular on Sirius/XM satellite radio. BradChad Porter used to be a preacher, runs the comedy company OKC Comedy, and has opened for the likes of Marc Maron and The Sklar Brothers. Exclusively in Houston they will be joined by Ramin Nazer (fresh off his appearance on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson') and San Antonio native Michael Priest.

"I'm just really excited for the opportunity to bring out some of my funniest friends and showcase them across the region," said Buchholtz, "These guys are either already doing big things in the comedy world or on the absolute verge of doing so."
