San Antonio's musical history
reads like a long, colorful, winding road, and thanks to Margaret Moser
and Michael Ann Coker, we now have the South Texas Popular Culture Center to celebrate that nearly-lost history. In 2011, they assembled the first installment of the Texas Legacy Music Show & Honors, and the floodgates were open!
By popular demand (and some serious dedication), Sunday, September
2nd (Starts at 6:00pm) marks the second TLM Show, and it's a doozie!
This year's lineup includes a reunion of SA's heaviest psychedelic
sons, SWEET SMOKE, San Anto-centric garage rocker LOS #3 DINNERS (who
cut their teeth in and around Sam Kinsey's Teen Canteen), 60's
blues-laiden rockers The remains of VIRGIL FOXX, soul/funk
supergroup MICKEY & The SOUL GENERATION, and a special set by The
TLM ALL-STARS (Many big surprises in-store there)!
