Dave Elkins (SXSW SPILL-OVER SHOW) at The White Rabbit, Friday March 17th

Dave Elkins (Mae/Schematic) will be making at stop in San Antonio during his solo tour. For the first time in over fifteen years, Elkins (former front-man, Mae) will release an album (Color (n.) Inside The Lines) and tour as a solo artist. 

The 30-date Schematic Tour kicks off at SXSW with an official showcase, Friday March 13th at Firehouse Lounge in Austin, Texas. Schematic will hop on two additional Texas shows with the boys in The Dangerous Summer (March 16-17 in Dallas/San Antonio). Asker, an Indie-Rock band from Minneapolis has been added to the tour. Dave Elkins manages and produces Asker on Schematic Records.

Nashville, TN – Virginia Beach native, Dave Elkins former-frontman for Alternative Rock band, Mae has launched an exciting new project, Schematic. For the first time in over fifteen years, Elkins will release an album and tour as a solo artist. “Color (n.) Inside The Lines” an 11-track album featuring over 18 different instruments will be released March 5, 2013. Fans can download the album for $7.99 at all online retailers and expect physical copies out on the Schematic Tour plus a vinyl in Summer 2013.
