San Antonio, TX- On Friday May 24th 502 Bar hosts a night of indie/
alternative/ experimental rock with two seasoned San Antonio bands and a
second SA visit from fresh bilingual quartet, Houston’s La Sien. The
Spanish/English rock band shines their talent through well-crafted pop
songs fusing Funk, Rock, Jazz, and Latin rhythms with electronic
samples. Local atmospheric rock trio Pop Pistol continues to perform
regionally in support of their independently released second full-length
album “Animal Prisms” while preparing for a full launch of their
imprint label, Mitote Records in June. SA veterans Snowbyrd have kept
the torch burning since the passing of their former drummer, the late
Manny Castillo, with their lo-fi southern pysch-rock. The band’s shows
are rare these days, but live they prove they haven’t missed a step.
Doors open at 9:30pm with a $5 cover charge for adults over 21.
