When Hogbitch made its debut in April, herds of copy editors cringed at the name, but hordes of heavy music fans rejoiced because the band is staffed by musicians who not only have been playing heavy rock, and more, for years, but know how to do it up right.
The members of Hogbitch, Suzy Bravo (vocals), former Express-News business writer Sanford Allen (guitar, vocals), Patrick McManis (bass) and Chip Alexander (drums), also know how to make good records.

Among them, the Hogbitch crew has worked with Evil Mothers, Boxcar Satan, Martyrhead, Suzy Bravo & the Soul Revue and Suzy Bravo and Rocket 350. They've all turned in stellar work on stages and bare floors from Taco Land to Chicago and back."
