deep throughout the world of rockabilly, folk, blues, rock, and even punk. His
legacy continues to make an impact on musicians young and old. This being the
10th anniversary of his death, Roland “Nightrocker” Fuentes presents his annual
tribute bringing in a fresh crop of SA’s young performers to celebrate JR’s
memory through song. The event will run a stream of short sets by the likes of
Cryin DT Bufkin, Lorita Drive, Ernesto Slick of Slick Dickens, and Rumors/You
and I Underwater frontman Michael Christopher, as well as a special extended
set featuring vocal takes from Lonely Horse, Sandoz, and more backed by a house
band featuring members of Sugar Skulls, Solaroid, and Pop Pistol.
