Portland’s poetry slam sage Eirean Bradley is set to grace the stage in San Antonio with his partner in crime Leah Noble Davidson on October 9 at The Espresso Gallery at 8:00pm. Members of San Antonio’s Puro Slam scene will open the night followed by Justin Lamb of Slam New Orleans. The evening will include caffeine, poetry as well as melodies from You and I Underwater and Chris Conde.
Eirean Bradley is a writer/musician/artist who believes that, like most things, poetry is best done loudly and without embarrassment.
He was the long-time host and organizer of the Portland Poetry Slam,
has been published in over 35 zines and small press books, and has
performed in all 48 continuous U.S. states. He’s an 8-time National
Poetry Slam competitor, a two-time NPS Finalist, and has opened for:
P.J. Harvey, Fiona Apple, and Soul Coughing.
Featured Puro Slam poets include host Shaggy from PuroSlam Poetry, San Antonio’s 2013 Slam Champion Rayner Shyne and SA legend Anthony ThePoet Flores.
