LOS MASTER PLUS AND MASTER BLASTER SOUND SYSTEM WRAP UP THE ÉCHALE SERIES ON NOVEMBER 8
WHAT:
San Antonio’s popular Latin music series, Échale! Latino Music Estyles, is back for its last concert of the season with Los Master Plus and Master Blaster Sound System this Friday, November 8th, sponsored by Corona Extra, Gibson Guitar, Red Bull Panamérika and Cadillac.
Los Master Plus is
bringing their cumbia-infused and ingenious covers from the great city
of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. With their handlebar mustaches, cowboy
hats and cumbia swagger, these guys will make you fired up to dance all
night. Master Blaster Sound System is a cumbia electronica
band from Austin and Corpus Christi. The five-piece band blends fresh
beats from cumbia, hip-hop and Norteño music. Since 2010, the band has
been pushing live beats and a full band creating a bridge between DJ
culture and a live performance.
Pearl will keep the festivities rocking with an official after-party at NAO, sponsored by Red Bull Panamérika and Gibson. The after-party will feature a live DJ set by El Dusty and
the opportunity to indulge in NAO’s late night menu. The menu features
delicious plates like the Scratch Burger, which includes live-fire
roasted blend of house-ground veal brisket & beef chuck, scratch
sourdough bun, garlic dijonnaise, oven-dried tomatoes, charred red onion
and house pickles. NAO will also offer decadent cocktails including the
“Cartel Cocktail”, which consists of blanco tequila, mescal, lime,
cilantro and cucumber serrano pepper.
The
Pearl amphitheater seats roughly 1,000 and Pearl invites latecomers to
bring lawn chairs and blankets if seating is scarce. Pearl is located at
200 E. Grayson St. in San Antonio, Texas. Parking will be available
onsite, and please make sure to remember the Kohler garage, which has
more than 300 parking spaces.
