Más Rudas are currently curating the Mexic-Arte Museum’s 19th annual Young Latino Artists exhibit, which showcases up and coming Latino artists under 35. In efforts of their curation, the fundraiser will aid in the travel of artists and their work.
Más Rudas is a multimedia Chicana art collective based in San Antonio, Texas which includes Ruth Buentello, Kristin Gamez, Mari Hernandez, and Sarah Castillo.The collective was formed to represent the multitude of Chicanisma within the community. Their purpose is to create dialogue about social awareness, document their perspectives, and bring about new forms of contemporary Chicana art aesthetics through multimedia installation."
