Channel 20 Update

Thankfully, it looks like San Antonio is not going to lose its Public Access channel. According to San Antonio for Public Access, "It was a very long day. Some individuals waited 14 hours to speak in favor of Public Access Channel 20."

Here's the outcome of yesterday's city council meeting, according to the Express-News:

Public, education and government access channels offered via Time Warner Cable won't fade to black next year, despite pending expiration of the company's local franchise agreement.

But the public access channel will go on hiatus until probably February under a plan unveiled Thursday by city staff.
