Bob Tyrrell GuitarI went down to Sunset Station today to check out the Six-String Masterpieces: Dimebag Darrell Art Tribute today. There were so many awesome guitars, designed by musicians - everyone from Marilyn Manson to Moby (and Kelly Clarkson - whom I wasn't sure would be my first choice to design a Dimebag Darrell guitar, but, being a chick, I kinda liked hers, I'll admit it!). And some awesome artists - a lot of famous tattoo artists.
Paul Booth GuitarI was glad to see, while I was there, a constant flow of people going in and out, donating money to support art and music education in memory of Dimebag. It was a little surreal, in a way...the hushed atmosphere as everyone remembered Dimebag Darrell and marveled at the beautiful guitars and the work these people put into them in memory of Dimebag Darrell.
