Just wanted to let everyone know that this Saturday at the Guadalupe River Club on Junction Hwy. here in Kerr-patch will be the fabulous Sea Monkeys! The Sea Monkeys hail from San Antonio and are a great cover/original band. Now, I don't normally promote another band unless they're friends and are really great. Well, they fall into both categories!
What makes them so great? Well, for one, they feature Florin Sanchez, local home-boy and session musician. For those of you who might not have heard Florin, well Saturday will be the night to! He has won numerous awards nationally, and I think was the first ever recipient of the Texas Heritage Music Foundation's Scholarship Award! I PROMISE you all will enjoy yourselves! They are a great band! They have a variety of music and can play just about anything!
So, please, tell your family, friends, neighbors, ex-wives, cell mates, fellow chess club members, etc. and help us spread the word!
