Bombasta's uniquely San Anto sound has been gaining them a reputation in the state as forerunners in the urban Latino alternative genre and has been placing them in high demand throughout central and South Texas. This eight-piece ensemble brandishes a full horn section and incorporates samples, accordion, tasteful guitar work and turntablism, coupled with pulsating rhythms and conscious lyricism delivered by homegrown visionary, El Robotico 2012. Bombasta will be joined by their friends from El Paso, Radio La Chusma, who are touring the region in support of their recently released CD, 91.5 MexM. Radio La Chusma reflects the cross pollination of life on the border through a mix of Reggae en Español and Latino rhythms and sounds. Both Bombasta and Radio La Chusma perform a complimentary mix of music, politics and culture that is sure to fill Luna and keep the room pulsing throughout the night.
