The band will open for Rose Royce at the AT&T Summer Concert Series on June 2nd at the Sunken Gardens Theater at Brackenridge Park.
Rock n Rescue is a series of musical competitions, but more important, they raise money and awareness for the Animal care Services as they transition into a No-Kill animal shelter in San Antonio.
Four Rock n Rescues have been held since April leading to this first victory by Starchild. Rock n Rescue will continue in June through September. Future Rock n Rescue winners will open for the Classic Rock All Stars featuring Mark Farner on July 21, Blue Oyster Cult on August 25 and War on September 29th.
The AT&T Summer Concert Series features an affordable $5 ticket price and is the beginning of a five year series of concerts to benefit the homeless pets of San Antonio.
