Pop Pistol Tour Kick-Off with Making Movies, Master Blaster Soundsystem & Mas O Menos at Jacks Bar, Friday Oct. 7th






-San Antonio, TX - Pop Pistol is proud to announce “El Movimiento Tour”, a DIY collaborative effort with Kansas City friends, hybrid Latin rock quartet Making Movies. The official all ages San Antonio kick-off is slated for October 7 at Jacks Bar. Also on the bill are Masomenos and Master Blaster Sound System. Doors open at 9pm and cover is $7 for adults and $10 for minors.

San Antonio’s electro-pop/rock trio Pop Pistol is hitting the road with bilingual rock hybrid Making Movies for a slew of shows and visits to grassroots organizations and youth programs including Rebel Diaz Arts Collective in the Bronx. The outreach efforts will be chronicled in a video series through the bands’ websites. The 24-day trip is the longest yet for the group taking them as far north as Milwaukee and Chicago, and as far east as Brooklyn.

Pop Pistol continues to tour in support of ‘Disappearing Edges’, the band’s latest EP released through Texas Is Funny Records. Reputable for their live performance, the band has garnered invites to share the stage with Dredg, Girl In A Coma, Minus the Bear, and Monte Negro. Upon returning, they are set to open for Filter and will begin working on a full length album while touring regionally.

The official hometown kick-off will take place on Friday, October 7 at Jacks Bar (3030 Thousand Oaks). The all ages event is $7 (21+) and $10 for minors. Supporting the bill are Masomenos and Master Blaster Sound System. Doors open at 9pm.
