Legendary New York death metallers Immolation will be paying our fair city a visit, and any and all extreme metal fans in the area should strongly consider catching their performance. Support at this show comes from touring bands Jungle Rot as well as some local support from San Antonio’s own Engaged in Mutilating and Emperial Massacre.
The show will take place on Tuesday, October 25th (three days after the sure-to-be-killer Absu show at Bond’s 007) at Backstage Live SA located on 1305 E. Houston St. in downtown San Antonio. The best part about this event? It’s free!
Well, provided you show up before ten, that is. Immolation are easily one of the best live bands in metal, so this one should be a given for San Antonio metalheads.
If you have to show up late, the cost changes to $15 after 10:00, and the show is also $20 for minors. Again, this is well worth it to see one of death metal’s most revered acts take the stage, and having seen them twice, this reporter can testify to that. Come early, buy merch, and bang your heads!
