San Antonio,TX, – Locally owned Retox bar announced today that it will be moving to a bigger location effective September 25, 2012.
The move will allow Retox to carry 3 times as many beers, and twice as many liquors.
Owner Eddie Kaufman says he estimates they will have between 80-120 Bottled Beers and 40 kinds of liquor. They will also be able to host bigger bands, while sticking to the strict no cover policy.
About Retox “2.0”
2.0 will be over 5000sqft with a large dance floor, all new bathrooms. They will also be expanding the in house sound system to handle the new square footage. The new open floor plan will be a major change from the old Retox. The bar area will be over 45 feet to help serve more patrons.
They will be keeping the classic clam shell booths that patrons of the original Retox have grown to love. They are also adding a 1000 sq ft patio which is currently under construction and should be fully completed by October 1st.
Events
With the new location Eddie says they will be able to host more private events. They will even be expanding the $2 pint night to host over 10 beers on draft. The original San Antonio $3 you call it will still be in place on Thursdays. Keep an eye on www.retoxbar.net for more information.

The Grand Reopening will be September 28 with soft opening parties running 9/25-9/27
9/28 Will be a cover free concert by Madwagon, with Vj vinny spinning between sets.
