A few of you (venues, artists, musicians and other local businesses) have recently inquired, as I've asked of them, if they'd be interested in sponsoring this blog via Sponsorship Banners you see on the right-hand column.
A few years ago, I ran these advertising banners at the rate of $50 annually to help keep the site expenses and time going strong.
Things eased up a bit, I no longer charged to advertise, and decided to add some that I thought were beneficial in finding out more information on events in San Antonio.
The hits have been absolutely crazy; 18,000+ in October and nearly 900 hits yesterday.
That being said, I'm at a point in time where fundraising has become a necessity to not only keep SA Rocks going strong, but also as a donation to my parents, Evo & Carol Mini. They played a large part in the San Antonio music scene, both economically impacting the City and helping artists to "break out" by bringing "The St. Mary's Strip", back to life. Both are extremely ill now, and need your support.
