Saluté Historic Preservation Committee Hearing, Wednesday Nov. 21st

"Dear Friends of Saluté,

Today members of the Saluté Historic Preservation Committee along with our beloved Azeneth Dominguez met at 2801 North Saint Marys while a staff member from the Office of Historic Preservation and two members of the Historic and Design Review Commission conducted a site visit related to our application for historic landmark designation for the former site of Saluté International Bar. Not only did the two members of the HDRC think the application was justified, but also Casey Lange - owner of the property - has had a change of heart and will now support the designation application.
Was it yesterday's eclipse that brought about this change?
We may never know, but we are very happy to now be working towards a goal that means so much to Azeneth without opposition from the property owner!

We still need you to come out for the HRDC hearing next Wednesday, November 21st at 3pm (please arrive at 2:30pm if you wish to sign up to speak) in order to demonstrate to all ten members of the HDRC that the community is behind the landmark designation for the former site of Saluté.

Stand up with us, San Anto!"
