Jason Boland & The Stragglers: With
lyrically bravery that has been compared to Merle Haggard, Jason Boland doesn't
let the norm dictate the songs he sings. Boland resides in Austin, but is an Oklahoma
native, but any artist will tell you that where you reside is
irrelevant, the road is your home. The Stragglers are no different, touring all
over the USA performing for Texas Country lovers nationwide. Their 2011 album,
“Rancho Alto,” reached 130 overall on the Billboard 200 rivaled against the
biggest pop, rock and country acts worldwide. Rolling back into the studio
this year, Jason is working on a new album with Shooter Jennings at the helm as
producer. Jason Eady has been rumored to make an appearance.
