"Dwight Smith and Julia Lucille will be performing at Boneshakers in San Antonio on June 28 as part of their summer tour.
"An indie folk artist residing in Austin, TX, Dwight Smith developed his catalog of songs while roaming The Americas over the last several years, living and working in Brooklyn, Chicago, Guatemala, Ecuador, Alaska, and Connecticut. His work has been called "haunting and delightful" (Terrascope), "wise, sobering, refreshing" (The Freequency), and "a fascinating personal take on folk" (Folk World). He released Lateral drifts on Twin Lakes Records last fall.

Julia Lucille draws from a rich array of
sources to create a tonal palette that is mesmerizing, beautiful, and
utterly unique. Her thoughtful compositions form the backdrop to her
smoky alto and poetry that is incisive, luminous, and deeply personal.
She has been praised as "champion finger picker of panning emotive
sweeps" (Gavin Paul of SongLyrics.com and Rolling Stone), as well as
"raw and personal" (Eva Goellner, The Pioneer Log). She released her
third LP, Homing, in December."
