"Karion is a Power Metal/Classic Metal four piece band originating from San Antonio, Texas. Widely acknowledged in their home territory as one of the founders of the renowned Texas Metal scene of the 1980's, the band has rekindled their fan base with the release of archived recording recording collection "Iron Shadows"
Contemporaries of other Texas greats, S.A, Slayer, Pantera, Helstar, Watchtower, Militia and others, Karion performed throughout venues form 1983 to 1986 during what many consider to be the golden era of the Texas Metal genre. The band is in the process of reforming and plans to resume live performances in Austin and San Antonio by November 2013.
