Johnny Drama Update

Oh what a night!!!! Saturday night, at Wise Guys, was by far the biggest crowd to see a Johnny Drama show and you were all awesome. Heck, it might even surpass any LS (Lakescum) crowd as well. The party hit full throttle from the moment we started until the end of the night. We were a little worried about the attendance, since we had just played at Wise Guys the week before but you guys put that to rest before we even got started. There were so many people in the audience that night that the co-owner of Wise Guys, Sal, was impressed once again and we're sure to be back there in the next couple of months. For that, we have to thank all of you again. The pics are up on the website so check them out.

We had a good part of our loyal family and friends but there were also a lot of new faces in the crowd. We had a close friend celebrating her birthday with us that night too. Elvia, hope you enjoyed yourself and the Mana song. That was the first Spanish song we have ever done but we had fun with it.

Saturday seemed to be filled with a lot of musician friends of our as well. We'd like to thank them for coming out also. We had the guys (and gal, Roxy) from Madwagon in the house Saturday. Also saw some of String Theory out there. Of course, we have to thank Dave from Papawood for running our sound that night once again. The guy has done a phenomenal job for us the last couple of weeks in a row. Along with Dave, Fred and Todd from Papawood were at Wise Guys. It's always great to see so many other musicians out there showing support for one another. If you get a chance, AND WE'RE NOT PLAYING ON THE SAME NIGHT, you should go and see one of their shows as well. :-)

Well now we're ramping up to put on a hellacious show Friday, the 20th of January, back at The Place. So start making your plans now to be there and party with us. Butch and Tony, the owners of The Place, have been gracious enough to have us back because you guys, as always, leave a great impression with the support you show us. So we'll see you there...the show starts at 9:45 PM.

The word is getting out about Johnny Drama and more and more people seem to coming to see the shows. We have to thank you, our friends and family, for telling your friends to come and check us out. It really has a great effect on us when we're up on stage and can see some many of you having a great time. So the next time you're out at your favorite bar, be sure to mention to them that they should have us play out there. Give them the website address so that they can contact us.
