These Grammy Award winners have written and performed such classic Top Ten Hits as “Heart of Rock & Roll”“Stuck With You”“I Want A New Drug”“If This Is It”“Hip To Be Square”,“Do You Believe In Love” and “Workin’ For A Livin”. Scott Stapp "Proof Of Life Tour" with Special Guests Audiomouth & The Sky Divided at Backstage Live, March 22

Scott Stapp (The Voice of Creed)

With Local Support:

Audiomouth
The Sky Divided

New Album "Proof of Life" on iTunes .

"Driven by unbridled passions and haunted by ghosts that defy definition, the great rockers keep getting better, stronger, more determined to get it right. Proof of Life is proof that Scott Stapp is among the great rockers. Its also proof that this time hes gotten it right.

I made up my mind to face myself as a man and an artist. This record is my first no-holds-barred statement of exactly who I am Stapp says. That statement is simultaneously simple and complex. The simple message is a straight-up confirmation of Stapps prowess as rock and roller of the first rank. Hes alive and kicking, singing with greater grit than ever before. The self-portrait emerging from this extraordinary suite of songs is multi-layered and nuanced, the compelling drama of a man unflinchingly reexamining his past as he fights for his spiritual sanity.

The musichard-edged, explosive, fiercely spontaneous and emotionally super-chargedframes the story of Stapps remarkable journey, beginning with his long relationship with Creed.

It was 1997 when My Own Prison, the debut multi-platinum Creed album, kicked off Scotts musical journey in spectacular style. As the lead vocalist and sole storyteller, Scott sculpted his own aesthetic. From the start, his spiritual conflicts galvanized a worldwide audience. Three other mega-selling records followed Human Clay (1999), Weathered (2002) and Full Circle (2009), in addition to Stapps successful solo venture, The Great Divide (2005). Awarded a Grammy in 2001 for his number-one hit, With Arms Wide Open, Scott was celebrated, in the words of one Rolling Stone writer, as a singer with an enormous emotional range and a composer of startling originality.

With the publication in 2012 of Sinners Creed, his autobiography, Scott detailed his struggles with drugs, alcohol and depression. It paved the way for Proof of Life."

NIN "TENSION TOUR" with Explosions In The Sky at AT&T Center, Tuesday Nov. 5th

Artwork: Steve Coronado aka Spade

"Two decades after he took industrial rock and electronic noise into rock's mainstream with Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor once more finds himself at the centre of popular music. Nine Inch Nails' sheet metal blasts were a key influence on the recent Kanye West album Yeezus, and a coolly pared down update of Reznor's grinding aesthetic recently turned heads via the impressive Hesitation Marks, the first Nine Inch Nails record in five years."

The MAJESTIC THEATRE proudly welcomes

THE DOOBIE BROTHERS

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3 @ 7:30PM

San Antonio--The Doobie Brothers bring their American rock legacy to the Majestic Theatre on Sunday, November 3 at 7:30pm.
The Doobie Brothers are one of the great American music stories.  Since their story began in the 1970s, the band has released 13 studio albums, celebrated numerous gold and platinum albums and chart toppers like "Long Train Runnin’", "Black Water" and "China Grove.

Their latest release World Gone Crazy is another chapter in one of the great American music stories, but it’s neither comeback nor nostalgia. An exhibition of aggressive and emotional performance, evocative storytelling, unapologetic attitude and world class musicianship, the collection is its own justification.

Aside from a few years of inactivity in the mid-eighties, the Doobie Brothers have continued to perform, create and record for over 21 consecutive years.

Like the nation that spawned the many musical styles they’ve adopted, the Doobie Brothers’ deepest traditions are change, growth, striving and an abiding faith in the future.

Tickets ($46.00 – $76.00) go on sale Friday, July 26 at 10:00am at ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets including the Majestic Theatre Box Office, or call 800.745.3000 to charge by phone. All tickets subject to applicable service charges and fees. This is part of the Bud Light Concert Series at the Majestic Theatre.
