Can You Help a Down and Out Musician?

Listen up San Antonio and fellow musicians …can you help a down and out musician? Rick Majni, who has been a fixture on the San Antonio music scene for over 30 years, playing with groups as diverse as Perfect Stranger, Shaman and Medicine Men to his current band N'Somnia, has undergone major heart surgery. Prior to surgery, Rick was employed as a roofer, but like many San Antonio musicians he has no health insurance. This is where we need your help.

On Sunday, April 15th, from 5:00 p.m. until midnight at Snoop's Tavern, 10726 Perrin Beitel Road, N'Somnia and friends will be hosting a musical benefit and raffle in an effort to raise funds for Rick's escalating medical bills. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a free CD jukebox. Bar-B-Q plates will be sold until the band starts at 8:00 p.m. With the start of the band a raffle will also begin of all the great items donated by patrons large and small of the San Antonio music scene. Attendance is necessary to claim raffle prices.

Admission is free and all are welcome to join us in live Rock-n-Roll music and community building. Musicians bring your axe, friends bring your cash, check, or credit card to help this noteworthy musician in his time of need.
