“These charming new-millennium romantics propel ‘You Raised a Vampire’ with rich synth waves, but also set off their guitars like sirens, making them attractive to rockers and popsters alike.”
–Christa Titus, BILLBOARD

Legacy Lives (Reverbnation)

Dark Planes - San Antonio, TX south-side dwellers DARK PLANES experiment on distortion-drenched songs bubbling with a heated desire to keep it raw and stripped. Hard, nervous chord walls smash into a soul dance beat screaming with L.A. sleaze, N.Y. punk, modern Delta blues and Lone Star-style pub rock. Bouts of improvised electronic noise intersect lanes of lust-filled tunes drawing from a post-punk era both new and used.

John Mata - guitar, vocals
Kory Cook - drums, vocals
Dale Johnson - bass
Carlos Herrera - keys
