"San Antonio, Texas - Secrets and Irises will be releasing their debut EP "Seasons" at Jack's Bar and Live Music Venue (3030 Thousand Oaks) on Saturday June 29th, 2013.
Sharing the stage with them will be Alt Rock four piece The Uprising and Post Rock Power House Bright Like The Sun. This is an all ages event with a $5 cover for 21+ and a $7 cover for minors. Doors open at 9:00p.m. and music begins at 10:00p.m.
Secrets and Irises formed in 2010 and went through a fair amount of lineup changes before finding the five piece it is today. They were nominated for Best Indie Rock Band and Best Female Vocalist in the The Fall's Bar, 2013 San Antonio Music Awards and performed live on Fox 29's "Good Morning San Antonio", in conjunction with Local 782's "Local Music Week". This their first album release and will be distributed via Mitote Records, a newly formed San Antonio record label. Secrets and Irises has plans to release a music video for one of the tracks off the album and to begin work on their second release within the coming months.
